When a tv series (usually sci-fi) has been laying subplots and building up to a long story line, then gets cancelled prematurely and has to close off all the loose ends and bring the show to a finish within a single season or episode.

It is a nod Joss Whedon, the man who makes some amazing shows with almost infinite subplots but never gets any respect from Fox Networks and is lucky to have any of his shows last more than one season.

Dollhouse has been having so many twists it's hard to keep up with, it's getting Jossrushed!
