islamitrauma 

In Philadelphia, 2004, the term Islamitrauma was born. Generally used to describe a condition in which behavior or belief invarient with mainstream/moderate islam produce conditions in which an individual (the traumatized) engages in unislamic behavior. Behavior in which the traumatizer intended to prevent by adopting or acting on extremist, insensitive, or hateful views.

Islamotrauma 

The common trauma people in Islamic countries, Muslim households or communities shared. There's no such thing as Islamophobia, a phobia by definition is irrational, unreasonable fear. The Islamotrauma people experienced makes it very rational to fear Islam. This new term is coined by a Iranian woman.

"We’ve lived under a brutal theocracy for 43 years and have Islamotrauma."

"My Islamotrauma is that I was molested by my uncle continuously at the ages of 4-5."

"As an Iranian queer woman, I have been the victim of Islamotrauma for 22 years (and it's still going on). I was forbidden of going to classes that had boy participants. My parents are extremely homophobic and every day I had to sit through their hatred for my people."
