Hamster Owner / Pet Hamster. HOPH, or HO/PH, is a relationship in which one person is the caregiver or "Hamster Owner" and the other is Hamster. It is NOT a relationship between an actual Hamster Owner and Hamster or any minor. This is a type of BDSM relationship that may or may not involve sex, but often involves play with hamster-like things, such as stuffed in a Hamster Ball, Hamster wheel, and spankings. The PH part of the relationship is often called the "little."

A drug user or addict. Hophead is an umbrella term for users of everything from cocaine to marijuana (or 'tea' - which is a jazz era term, not one that originated with the Beats as is erroneously noted elsewhere @ the Urban Dictionary) to benzedrine (aka 'bennies'/amphetamine). The term sprang from the early jazz scene in 1920's/30's America.
