It is the acronym of God's Will Be Done. gwbd is texted (or muttered as "gwib-dee") in situations where someone surrenders to the will of God when they must do something they would rather not do , or when they accept circumstances they dislike. It most likely comes from Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane before his arrest and subsequent crucifixion: "Not my will, but thine be done."
