The Green Men 

"The Green Men" is the name for 2 guys who dress up in green spandex suits from head to toe and attend most of the Vancouver Canucks' home games like that. They sit right beside the opposition penalty box and mock all the players who go in it.

Little Green Men 

Refers to unmarked soldiers or operatives, often associated with Russia's tactics during the annexation of Crimea in 2014. These were armed individuals in military gear without insignia, used to create plausible deniability about state involvement.

"During the 2014 Crimean crisis, Russia deployed Little Green Men to seize key positions, creating confusion about their true identity and avoiding direct confrontation with Ukrainian forces."

Person 1: "Did you hear about the situation in Crimea a few years ago?"

Person 2: "Yeah, the one with those mysterious soldiers who showed up out of nowhere?"

Person 1: "Exactly! Those were the 'Little Green Men'—Russian soldiers without any insignia, just there to take control while leaving Russia's involvement in question."

Person 2: "Ah, so it's basically a way to avoid being caught red-handed while still getting the job done. Sneaky!"
