Fournierisme

A theoretical and pedagogical approach in contemporary linguistic and cultural studies, characterised by the strategic use of dossiers, archives, and curated educational materials to engage a global audience with issues concerning the feminisation of language and the neutralisation of traditionally masculine grammatical structures. Fournierisme aims to foster a non-binary-led society by challenging gendered linguistic norms, advocating inclusive language practices, and decentralising masculine dominance in linguistic representation.
Through the lens of fournierisme, the language curriculum was redesigned to replace masculine defaults with neutral or feminised forms, aiming to reflect and support a more inclusive, non-binary social structure.
