when spoken, represents a phonetic version of LSD. also sometimes spelled alice dee, ellisdee or even ellis dee. ellis dee is also a famous jungle dj/producer. there's also a guy named ellesdee on IRC but he has nothing to do with the mentioned dj/producer.
