All the other bankers were buying Mortgage Backed Securities and SWAPS, so the econopath bought a bunch too, even though he had no idea how they worked. He felt confident because they had "triple A" ratings assigned by other econopaths. They were all victims of the econoclasts as were the depositors and shareholders that trusted them.

Any benzodiazepine derivative such as Valium (diazepam) or Ativan (lorazepam) which is consumed prior to a long flight and you are stuck in economy class because an upgrade was not available.

Luke was in no mood to return from his stressful business trip via a ten hour flight in economy, so he took a few econopams to tolerate the shrieking children and awful food.

Econoinfidel means an monetary unbeliever, especially a nonbeliever in the economy. An econoskeptic doubts and is critical of all accepted doctrines and creeds relating to the economy.

Ecopath

A person so obsessed with "environmentalism" and "being green" that they deem any sort of infraction against their misguided mindset as the ultimate sin. Possessed of a gigantic "holier than thou" attitude. Were this type of person given a choice between cutting down a tree and strangling a newborn baby...well, sorry baby!

-"Man, that guy just gave me the dirtiest look when I threw my water bottle into the garbage!"

Ecopath

Someone who uses the environment in a destructive fashion purely for their own gratification without regard for the common good of life on earth. These people have no sense of remorse or guilt or remorse about their destructive impact on the environment. Ecopathism is a personality disorder much like sociopathism.

Even though Bill knows that driving his SUV by himself and keeping his heat at 75 F in the winter is very wasteful and bad for the environment, he doesn't care, and doesn't feel any guilt, therefor he is an ecopath.

economatrix

When you are low on money and so have to do an eco round on CS (Counter Strike), its easier to hear economatrix than the standard Eco as its longer and the "ix" part is particularly easy to pick out even if others are going "hax! hax! that last round was bull!"

Dave: "Eco" (loads of background noise)
Everyone goes: "What?"

Everyone goes: "oh ok"

A mind-set, particularly within political elites that favours the economy and business above all other concerns such as the health and happiness of citizens, key natural resources, the environment and morality.

The UKs governance consists only of Econothink which reaches only as far as today and tomorrow, meaning it completely fails to register any intrinsic value in anything, water, power, culture, mobility and clean air included.
