dororo 

Dororo is a blue ninja-like frog alien from the Keroro Platoon, a group of 5 of such aliens from Keroro Gunso, known as Sgt Frog in the US. He was traumatized by cruel treatment by his 'friend' Keroro and breaks down crying when reminded of it, which is refered to as his trauma switch turning on. His gaurdian is a ninja girl.

dorobo 

Originally a term for hunter-gatherer groups in Kenya and Tansania, this term is commonly used among Filipinos to pertain to a person who swindles, takes advantage, fools, scams, robs, another person or persons while taking advantage of the trust given to him.

A person who gets money from his brother with a contract to build a fence around a swimming pool but never shows up and instead spends the money on gambling and to go home and splurge in the Philippines...is a DOROBO.

A person who invites his brothers to invest in real estate and business with a very intricate and detailed presentation only for them to find out that there was no such investment and that he has moved to another part of the country, threatening to file bankruptcy to avoid prosecution...he is a DOROBO.

dorobo 

Dorobo is a derogatory term for unrelated hunter groups of Kenya and Tanzania.
In the past 150 years, many of these peoples have assimilated to the neighbouring peoples and have, in the process, abandoned their own languages.

ETYMOLOGY:

The term 'dorobo' is derived from the Maa expression il-tóróbò which implies - primitive and very poor hunters.

Today the term describes the vile and worthless individuals with no morals whatsover and prey on one's own kind .

The word also applies to a wretched person or a group of individuals who betray his or their own people, one who commits a very serious act of disloyalty or one who takes advantage of kindred friendship and dupe unsuspecting members of his own group, for personal and oftentimes immoral gains.

There are two known types of DOROBOS, the specialist and the generalist.

The specialist will target one person at a time while the generalist is more opportunistic and will go after a group.

Examples of each type of dorobo.

Specialist:
One who knowingly enters into a contract, i.e. to construct a swimming pool , with the intent to defraud and consequently antagonize the target 'client '. In essence, one who jimmies from a contract.

Generalist:
An engineer who swindles a large sum of money from a group of trusting inviduals thru' a fictitious agri-aqua venture project. One is deceived into entering a Faustian bargain.

Dooron

A person who never knows whether to push or pull when approaching a doorway, usually ending in embarrassment.

(Tony, like a dick, tries to push open the glass lobby door that is clearly labeled PULL, hurting himself, spilling his coffee, dropping his phone, and making a noise loud enough to turn heads.)

David (walking by): Did you see that? Tony just smashed his face into that door!
