dissnowpointment

The deep sadness felt when forecasted snow does not fall or accumulate as anticipated. Most commonly impacts inhabitants of the Pacific Northwest, west of the Cascade Mountains.
"There was city-wide dissnowpointment when the weather advisory was wrong. Again. And everyone had to go to work and school as usual."

"Dissnowpointment was widely shared on-line, with pictures posted of bare pavement and captions about school closures in Portland and Seattle."
