The foods that were eaten as a matter of course a hundred years ago but have lost favour with modern audiences, mainly because our palates have changed. Secondary meaning: The shifting of the cultural palate.
Eg: "I couldn't stand to eat all that cunkage. Tripe is just revolting to me."

Eg2: "Cunkage led to liver and kidney dishes losing popularity on the dinner table."
