calmbit

A computer science term for an unused portion of computer memory, usually a single bit (the alternative being calmbytes and so on for increasingly larger amounts).
After booting up his brand-new system d operating system, Hans Reiser realized that he had only 55 calmbits of RAM left for the rest of his programs.
