BUT THEN...

used to describe a turning point in a situation. (For better or worse)

It only works when you say it dramatically, like some ESPN and Sports Analysts do.
It seemed the New England Patriots were going to win the super bowl, BUT THEN...Wes Welker dropped the ball.

It seemed The Heat were going to win the finals, BUT THEN...Dirk Nowvitzki scored 1,000 points.

It seemed that Yao Ming was going to be the last well known Asian in the NBA, BUT THEN...Jeremy Lin came along.

but then i ate an orange and it was k

This end of a sentence can be used to express that all turned out good in the end. (The orange is superior and can heal and stop all evil)

This phrase is based on a champion in the game "League of Legends". A Pirate called "Gangplank" has an ability where he eats an orange and dispells all CC effects from him (and heals in addition).
"I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee, but THEN i ate an orange and it was k!"

But then I took an arrow to the knee

the universal excuse for why you didn't do something. A.K.A the most common youtube comment.
Girl: Did you go to the store today.
Guy: I was going to, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

But then if IIIIIIII do it

Basically its a saying girls use when they see beautiful women do task while still looking like a super model but then if they do it, its a total mess
*Kylie Jenner pee's her pants and looks beautiful

me: but then if IIIIIIII do it

But then, where is the real me, after all is said and done? Oh, there is no real me. I guess that's it.

A quote, from the anime , serial experiments lain (YOU SHOULD WATCH IT!!) she is lain. We are. Lain LAIN LETS ALL LOVE LAIN!!
But then, where is the real me, after all is said and done? Oh, there is no real me. I guess that's it. I only exist inside of those people aware of my existence.

Everything is simply a shape, a form, an identifier to let others recognize me as me! But then, what am I? Is this me? My true self? My fake self? What is it that I am? Nobody understands me!

Don't quote this in therapy you filthy shinnie.
you know how Shinji Ikari once said: "Everything is simply a shape, a form, an identifier to let others recognize me as me! But then, what am I? Is this me? My true self? My fake self? What is it that I am? Nobody understands me!" yeah, I relate to that.

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

A slang term used to describe a bald person, typically someone who is completely bald or has a closely shaved head. The term is derived from the infamous, hairless kids’ cartoon character of the same name.
Example 1:
“Did you see that caillou over there? His head is reflecting the sun like a disco ball.”
Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
