a word used by a member of the band The Offspring to describe how amazing the audience was at BS08. Now is generally used to describe something good about Bumbershoot. Used like the term "the shit".

Buttershits

The type of shits that come out with no internal form and that are extremely squishy, like butter that has been left out overnight. It has no structural integrity, so it slides out with ease and can be cut off with nary an inkling of effort.

Sometimes buttershits can be difficult to get completely finished with because the colon has a hard time figuring out how to thrust it out.

Oh God, I had the buttershits so bad! It was so runny that it just streamed down to the apex of both butt cheeks and dripped off from either side.
