Y'ibex

The shortened version of "you're an ibex", as in the Alpine Ibex mountain climbing goat.

It's what you'd say to your buddy when he's playing it way too slow with a chick, because he isn't making any moves. This term was coined by comedian Chris D'Elia on his podcast entitled Congratulations, on September 18th, 2017.

Mark: "Dude I'm not sure she likes me, we've been on seven dates and have barely even made out."

Chris: *texts make a photo of an Alpine Ibex* "y'ibex."

Y’ibex 

A term coined by comedian/cult leader Chris D’Elia used to describe someone who is indescive about their mutual feelings with their lover/partner and seeks the help of others.

Hey dude. You’ve hung out with a girl 7 times and have never gotten your dick touched? Y’ibex.

Every time my buddy texts me and he tells me he’s not sure how this girl feels about him I fucking always send him a picture of an ibex on a wall because that’s what that motherfucker it is. As in, figure it out.

It’s been 8 weeks and you haven’t gotten to third base? Stop taking her to a movie....have a date at home. OR....y’ibex.
