West Baltimore is full of kitten-sized rats, gratuitous violence, blocks and blocks of vacant houses, extreme poverty, illegal drugs, record-high murders, frequent home invasions and burglaries, high levels of high school dropouts, and other unwanted activity typically found in hopeless ghettoes.
Contrary to belief, West Baltimore is NOT like The Wire. It is very much a southern city, and NOT like other northern cities, such as Philly, Trenton, Newark, and NYC.
