Urbanicide 

When a city or metropolitan area pursues a gargantuan public infrastructure project that is considered mostly unnecessary by the citizenry while there are scant funds to pay for it. The urbanicide then occurs when an appointed (unelected) authority then decides to subject the region's citizens to user fees (read: toll taxes) to pay for the extravagance, dividing the community and greatly impoverishing it at the same time.

The harsh tolls being forced down the Louisville area's throat by the unelected Louisville and Southern Indiana Bridges Authority (LABIAS) for the Ohio River Bridges Project will surely result in a terrible urbanicide of what will be called a once-great city and region.

Urbanicalensis 

The disease transmitted by using modern words too much (e.g. LOL, OMG, Noob, etc.), and it may be spread from person to person if the "Urbanenis Speaker" (See Urbanenis) says it to someone, and that person is influenced by the Urbanenis Speaker, and starts speaking modern words.

"Bob, how are you today? What project are you working on?"
"Sorry, was on WoW all night last night. I have Urbanicalensis now and I can't come to work"

In their 1992 publication "Mostar '92", a group of Bosnian architects from Mostar used the term urbicide to define the violence against the city fabric, such as the destruction of the Mostar bridge, a usage consistent with Marshall Berman's prior use of the term to describe similar acts of violence in Bosnia.
