Turnipstan

The mythical land reputed to be in the region of South West Ireland and populated by a superior species of Irishman. The derivation of the name reflects this in that Turnipstanians consider the turnip to be altogether superior to the potato. Known for their war cry, which legend has it can be heard as far away as San Diego on a windy day--'Irish by birth, Turnipstanian by the grace of God'.

It is difficult to provide an example of a mythical land, which exists soley in the mind of Turnipstanians.

A name used to laugh at the country of Turkey simply for existing, due to the economic shithole that Turkey has been in for, like, forever.
