Tool Move 

when someone does something that could cause them to be classified as a tool. This could mean doing something just because it's 'cool' and/or because someone told them to and/or because that's what everyone else is doing.

"Why would you go to the midnight premiere of Twilight when you can just see it the next day at a reasonable hour? What a tool move."
