Tensious

the adjective of the word tension, an extreme or very elevated level of tension, describes a noun that contains an a very elevated levels or feelings of tension, stress, difficulty.

This word was coined by Michael Lanham, and had been misused by him for quite sometime, and on many occasions, until he realized that it had not yet been made official. Some call that error, and some creativity.
Since both parties had come to the negotiation with completely different understandings of the matter to be discussed the situation was tensious.

The last time we saw each other was tensious, as it was the first time since we broke up.

Dinner was a rather tensious ordeal, since I had dated the women in all 4 couples who were attended.
