Being unable to go through an everyday social interaction with a stranger, such as a shop assistant, without making a light hearted comment which makes the situation more awkward

Friend 1 to waiter "I'll have a hot chocolate please"
Friend 2 to waiter "Excuse my child of a friend, I'll have a filter coffee please"
Friend 1 to friend 2 "See what I mean, you suffer from teejism"

Teenism

The inherent discrimination of teenagers by the rest of the population. Commonly assumed to be mentally deficient, whiney, ungrateful, lazy, and other negative traits. Often incited by the age old perception that has been passed down through generations. Can be immensely frustrating for a teenager, as they are often spoken to condescendingly or treated as an inevitable criminal.
Note that this is not limited to adults discriminating against said teenagers. Teenagers can discriminate among their own age group, or adolescents slightly younger/older.

Example of teenism:
Arbitrary and whiney comments and facebook posts including but not limited to:
-I swear this is the most screwed up generation
-Any sentance starting with "kids these days"
Also observed in general conversation.
