Superwoman Complex

A woman with a Superwoman Complex constantly needs to prove that she is smart, secure, strong and self-sufficient. The Complex makes her continually compete with the men in her life, often emasculating those closest to her. Women who have had to fight patriarchy in their early lives suffer most strongly from the Superwoman Complex.
She always has to be right. She's totally got a Superwoman Complex.

Superman Complex

When you give yourself an unhealthy feeling of responsibility. Feeling you need to save everyone around you and that no one can do their job better than you can do it yourself.
Bob: Hey Jim... wanna play ball after work?

Jim: I can't... I have to stay overtime to make sure everything is set for the next shift. I have to do what everyone else didn't do good enough and then I have to go home and study right after I help my little brother study.

Bob: You better calm down... that Superman Complex is gunna stress you out.

Jim: Well I masturbate a lot.

Bob: Oh.... well that helps...

Superman Complex

The Superman Complex is actually a psychological state in which one has the belief that "nothing bad can happen to me".
As if THEY will never be the one to get in a car crash, or THEY'LL never overdose on a drug.
Common among teens and children.
The complex can vary from minor to severe.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
