Striderian

Relating to the use of humor and irony to avoid conflict by passing any controversial utterances off as a joke. Derived from the character 'Dave Strider', a smart-ass cool-kid from the webcomic 'Homestuck'
But the issue with the “EVERYTHING IS A JOKE, AND DEEP AND MEANINGFUL AT THE SAME TIME!” Striderian philosophy of Hussie’s writing is not only that Hussie uses it to inure HIMSELF from criticism, but also that so very much of his fandom gleefully buys into it.
