Shorespawn

A spawn in an fps game that puts the player significantly out of action.

The origins for this term date back to the Halo2 map Relic (available as part of the "Maptacular Pack" downloadable content). If a member of the defending team died during a flag game while the offensive team was in their base the defender could get spawned on the beach. This spawn placed them so far away they could not adequately defend the flag capture.
Man I just got shorespawned. I can't make it back to the flag in time. This game sucks.

Showspawn

Those who love the Amazon Prime tv show The Wheel of Time by Rafe Judkins and think it is better than the books or that it honors the source material.
The RafeSworn are such Showspawn. How can anyone believe this is any good? They completely changed the story and destroyed the characters!

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
