Shadowboxing 

Original: Shadowboxing is an exercise used in the training for combat sports, especially, as its name implies, in boxing. It is used mainly to prepare the muscles before the person training engages in stronger physical activity. In shadowboxing, only one person is required to take part; the participant throws punches into the air at no one in particular or an imaginary opponent.

someone who claims to be your friend, but is never actually there for you. like a shadowbox, this person (or people) are more like a hollow shell and no substance than a real person.

Shadowboxing is the act of jacking off, skeeting, spanking the monkey, beating off, or choking the chicken in your rack with the curtains are closed and when you have a light on in your rack. Then a shodow of you beatin your meat is dispalyed for everyone who happens to look and notice it to see.
