RaRap is the Haitian Rara style of the Rap Kreyòl music.

The name is a portmanteau of the Rara (Haitian Roots) and Rap music originating from French-Creole and Crenglish speaking countries of the Caribbean, the Antilles such as Haiti, Martinique, Dominica, Guadeloupe, as well as Canada, France, Western Africa and Haitian communities in the Untited States most notably New Orleans - which are sung by artists of Haitian decent.

Usually the artist Raps over hardcore Rara beats which get its stylistic origin fromHaitian Root Music that's played with Verses, Choruses, Hooks, Singable Melody, Riff/Vamps.

Characterized by and performed on traditional musical instruments which are played only by musicians of Haitian origin include:
Voodoo drums, Metal trumpets which are made from recycled metal, bamboo trumpets, Vaksin (vaccine) the vaccine perform repeating patterns in hocket and often strike their instruments rhythmically with a stick while blowing into them,

But now a days the Haitian folk instruments are rarely used, they're replaced by electromechanical. instruments such as Drum Machine Keyboard/Keytar, Bass guitars, KeyBass, Drum set, Percussions, Loops, Sequencers which make RaRap much easier and less expensive to produce than Rara music performed on traditional Haitian folk musical instruments.

A notable label of this kind of RaRap Music is Negre Marron Records which was founded in New York City 2018 by René Guemps
