Plagiarphrase

The act of copying and pasting material into reports/essays etc., and modifying sentence structure, punctuation and synonym usage to prevent it from showing up in a search engine if your teacher checks your work.

Original: Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. (born September 27, 1982), better known by his stage name Lil Wayne, is an American rapper.

Plagiarphrased: Lil Wayne, the better known stage name of American rapper Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was born September 27, 1982.

Plagiphrasing 

1. The first cousin of plagiarizing.

2. Attempting to paraphrase an outside source, however, merely right clicking Synonyms in Microsoft Word. This type of 'paraphrasing' has the same exact meaning and sentence structure.

3. Punishable by castration by the professor.

Mike: Hey Lance! How did you do on that major paper in Dr. Octa's class?
Lance: Not so hot. I got caught plagiphrasing so now I've got to get a ball removed...
