Pronounced pri-aye. Meaning gift. Comes from the language of Ebo in Nigeria. Short for Tamunodiepiriye (tam-oona-day-pri-aye). Fully meaning "God's gift". Tamuno- meaning God and -diepiriye meaning gift.

Has nothing to with the French word plie.
