It's also the capital of 'Udta Punjab' and home of various northern drug mafias like 'Sher-e-punjab', 'Baggi' & 'Doaba Trappers'. Phagwara is only an hour and a half far from Pakistan, which supplies nearly 90% of all Indian drugs. Rural country Phagwara is also a cunch full of teen trappers and soul less nitties. It's also rumoured that the state government acts as a syndicate in drug trafficking, which explains why most of these dealers do not get caught. Phagwara is paradise for European drug addicts as drugs here are very cheap, easy to get hold off & most people can understand English.
