Pedophrasty

Argument involving children to prop up a rationalization and make the opponent look like an asshole, as people are defenseless and suspend all skepticism in front of suffering children: nobody has the heart to question the authenticity or source of the reporting. Often done with the aid of pictures.

"Please don't bring in kids to incite empathy, that's pedophrasty. Talk facts"

Pedophrasty

Nonsense word, made up to dismiss the concerns of the young, out of hand, without actually having to address their concerns.

I just used the word "pedophrasty" so the concerns of anyone younger than me are no longer valid.
