When you went out of your comfort zone and step out of the door of you room/dorm to perform a activity like watching TV, getting grocery, or drink in the bar!

I was so outdormsy yesterday. I went out of my room and watch TV on the sofa in the living room. I even got grocery downstairs!

It's an adjective that can be applied to both people and the clothes they wear. Typically a garment (or wearer thereof) that is intended to function in an outdoor/athletic setting, but has some token styling cues that make it acceptable for more urbane pursuits. Typically seen in the PNW.

Merrell sandals and convertible pants are outdorky.

Stuart was regularly known by his neighbours as the Lincolnshire Bear Grylls, not so much for being outdoorsy, but mostly because of his tendancy to walk around the house naked and his use of Susie's George Formby Grill.

Outdormsman 

University student, with a dorm room as a primary residence, whom spends more time outdoors. (i.e. Hiking, Camping, General Outdoor Recreation)

My college room mate was never around because he was an outdormsman, but he had a lot of stuff.

Most outdormsman will tell you they have "more firewood then nights in the dorms".
