Oopsituary

Posting a memorial message on a social networking site about a celebrity who has died years before, under the impression that the person has just died. This usually happens around the anniversary of the death.

“RIP Bo Diddley. I'm sad!”

"Dude, this is an oopsituary. Bo died in 2008."
