Ooplang

The practice of keeping a portion of VAT, collected on behalf of the Tax Man, instead of declaring the full amount then hiding it from the government.

Most common people who practice ooplang are those who reside in a small Indian township of Pretoria, South Africa known as Laudium.
Indians who hide ooplang generally stash the money under their mattresses or in air tight packets which are sealed in jam jars and then thrown in the swimming pool.
