Noun.
A way of living or philosophy of life that is characterized by a lifestyle of those acting or behaving beyond "foolish" or "dull" and is typified by people who are most notably stupid or painfully lacking in good judgment.
The philosophy of moronicism supercedes mere moronism in terms of the sheer level of idiocy demonstrated beyond simple morons. These groups of individuals usually tend to be of an upper middle to upper class background and tend to use more words and flowery language than is necessary given general circumstances.
From the word Moron:
1910, from Gk. (Attic) moron, neut. of moros "foolish, dull" (probably cognate with Skt. murah "idiotic;" L. morus "foolish" is a loan-word from Gk.). Adopted by the American Association for the Study of the Feeble-minded with a technical definition "adult with a mental age between 8 and 12;" used as an insult since 1922 and subsequently dropped from technical use. Linnæus had introduced morisis "idiocy."

Adding the additional "ic" to moronicism demonstrates an additional level of idiocy present in the way of living beyond mere moronism because this definition already seemingly suitably defines this philosophy, but had to be justified using a larger word instead of a shorter word.

Get the moronicity mug.Moronicus is a species similar to humans, but a lot dumber. They are only slightly smarter than a rock. They manage to blend in our society very successfully. Be aware that you might be living with one. They are highly dangerous, infecting others with their stupidity.
