Money Boogie

N. The dance that you do in your computer chair when you realize that you are getting back an awesome tax return.
After I prepared my taxes and made sure I listed all my deductions, I realized I was getting back about $2500 extra compared to last year and I did the money boogie.

My co-worker asked me if she was doing her taxes right and after everything was verified, instead of having to pay $900, she ended up getting back $1600, so the money boogie.

Booger Monkey

A booger monkey is a regional American colloquialism that historically refers to a mischievous or frightening hobgoblin-like creature, often described in Appalachian folklore as a hairy, black-colored spirit or "wood booger" that haunts the deep forest. While the term is frequently used today as a playful nickname for a messy child, its older roots link it to "prohibition myths" designed to scare children into staying indoors after dark to avoid being caught by such monsters. In more modern, vulgar slang, the phrase can also mock an individual perceived as unhygienic, specifically implying they are someone who eats boogers.
