Marimite

Short for "Maria-Sama Ga Miteru". A light shoujo ai anime commonly watched by horny boys looking for yuri.

Marimite is a very well drawn anime and manga series, with decent characterization and excessive use of French. However, it is constantly abused by yuri-fanatics. Despite only, like, two shoujo ai kisses.
The best part? NO FAN SERVICE!

marmite addict

a marmite addict is often very territorial over THEIR jar of marmite. Often results in fists being beaten against walls.
Signs of an addict...
1. expresses extreme concern over a missing jar of marmite
2. attacking relatives and housemates over the potential steal of marmite
3. irrational behaviour towards neighbouring objects when marmite fails to appear for a daily fix

I am not suggesting you stole my marmite just that you confused it with yours?!

Marinite

Native of a secluded area on the mellow side of a famous bridge. Lives on a houseboat in Sausalito, or in a cliff-clinging edifice screened from view by steam from the hot tub. Preferred transportation is sailboat, bicycle, BMW or jogging shoe. Enjoys days on the bay, natural food, Ramos Fizz brunches, good neighbors and sunsets over Mt. Tam. Wants it all now, but will settle for a reasonable amount & monthly payments. Has endured floods, peacock feathers and mudslides on the Waldo, but would never live anywhere else.

Having lived anywhere else, a real marinite will always come home.
