The way that someone from Dawley in Shropshire or from up north says 'Mate'
Alright Mairt!!!!! have you done your homework?

Get the mairt mug.
Mate, friend, pal, buddy, mucker, kidda. Originates from the small towns of Dawley and Horsehay (pronounced "HossHay") in Shopshire County - aka Salop).

Said by locals when addressing or greeting fellow Dawley Salopian residents. Can be exchanged for "Blade" too, meaning the same. Kept alive today by many in the Telford area and has surprisingly spread to other cities.
"Reet Mairte, ow bist thee Cocker/Mucker?" = "Alright mate, how are you my friend?"

(Or maybe a txt)

"Hey Mairte, have you done my homework yet cos i'm gona be snorklin' deep in the shit!!! Cheers blade!!"
