LegendBall

A game played on cafeteria tables, with a row of spoons as the net. You hit it but it has to hit your side before it hits the other side. Suburban North American Pastime.

A game of skill

A game of precision

A game of finesse

A game of misbehavior and rebellion

A game of constant sexual reference

A game of stepping on the little guys

A game of class

The Surge - Yo man, you just punched me in the face. I'm gonna punch you back

Savior - No, I'm sorry.

The Surge - Okay we'll play a game of LegendBall to settle it.

Savior - Okay

Surge beat the Savior. And the Savior is forgiven, yet punished at the same time.

Legendbait

The internet disease of posting random thirst traps, old memes, or painfully obvious content with captions like “Only legends know…” or “Legends remember…” to trick people into feeling special and farm engagement.

Usually perpetrated by clout-chasing pages and engagement-hungry admins who think adding the word “legend” magically turns every horny scroller, nostalgia addict, and terminally online idiot into a member of some secret elite club.
1. Posting a random actress’s cleavage pic and writing “Only legends know her.” Bro, she’s a mainstream celebrity. That’s not niche knowledge, that’s legendbait.
2. “Legends remember this biscuit.”

No, genius. Half the country ate it. Stop with the legendbait.
3. “If you know this song, you’re a legend.”

Congratulations, you’ve just promoted millions of ordinary people to legendary status for recognizing a chart hit.

Usage:
“That page is run by professional legendbait - ers who call every thirsty dude a legend just for knowing who an actress is.”

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.

An absolutely foolproof way to keep minors from viewing content deemed "too mature" for them to watch.
Billy: "So I was trying to watch some videos for an M rated game, and I ran into an age gate, so I put in my real birthday. SOMEHOW it managed to figure out that I am 12. CURSE YOU AGE GATE!!!"

Bill: "Fucking age gate! *quick scroll* THERE! I was born on January 1, 1904. Fuck you age gate."
