Lauture

1. An adjective used to describe anything or anyone of very strange character, usually something with geniusesque insight into a certain subject.

"Man, I was walking by this babbling schizophrenic today. The dude was Lautreamont."

1: a lively Romanian folk dance that is very easy to learn.
2: a word used to describe any word used by your friends over and over for no particular reason other than that it is fun to say.
3: something people just won't shut up about.
4: any stupid memory/idea that resurfaces repeatedly for no reason. (positive connotation)

person#1: "josh just won't stop saying "pamplemousse" its driving me nuts!"
person#2: "oh, thats just his girlfriends' favorite word these days. I heard she picked it up over the summer from her cousin in france."
person#1: "and this is relevant because why again?"
person#2: "it's his Hora Lăutărească, just ignore it."
