Generally derogatory word for foreigners in South African slang. Increasingly appropriated as a term for any foreigner or foreign thing the way gays have taken on faggot as a point of pride.

His kwerekwere beats really got the house shaking, certainly better than that kwaito crap they usually spin.

Instead of going "haha" or letting out a normal laugh, some people let out a "kweekwee".

Alyssa Milano and Mariah Carey both had kweekwee laughs.
