A certain type of grading curve, usually above 30%, which is instituted by a teacher in his or her course when he or she has knowledge of the almost impossibility of succeeding at said course with an uncurved grading system. A Kro curve is usually inordinate and, unlike other grading curves, carries no punitive connotations and is regularly instituted in said course. Usually, a Kro curve is accompanied by mass cheating and/or no regulation of when class assignments are done or turned in. However, even with this kind of curve, said class is usually still extremely challenging.

Its origin is not known.
