Very old fashioned Italian-American slang for a retarded person. Literally, it is a corrupted dialect form of the Italian word for cucumber. Essentially it means that you have the intelligence of a cucumber. It is becoming popular again in New Jersey because it was used by a character in The Sopranos. It's pronounced - Jid-DROOL'. you roll the "R" on the Drool syllable.

jadrool is the italian for cucumber and why italians choose fruit for derogatory slang remains a mystery. Colloquially it means "lazy bum" and can be used amicably or as an insult.
"Be cool, jadrool."
