a form of media an individual discovers unexpectedly, particularly media that is considered unique, rare, or "too good to be true" thus, coining the phrase, "This is internet gold."

Friend #1: "Dude, I can't believe I found this old VHS rip uploaded to youtube! It's so rare!"
Friend #2: "Totally, this is internet gold."
