Interlooper 

A person who starts doing drugs and joins a group of people who are heavily into that drug(s) already. Then after a short while, leaves the group because they can't keep up with the group's high level of partying.

Joe - Hey Keith, who's that kid who was at your apartment last night in the corner tweaking out?

Keith - Oh, thats just some interlooper we met the other day. He won't last long partying with us.

Joe - I hope he doesn't od trying to keep up with us.

interoperability 

Technical: The capability - or functionality - of hardware or software being compatible with other versions of hardware/software or other components.

Interoperability is of great importance when developing software.

intercooler 

a device mounted in tandem with either a turbocharger or supercharger. its purpose is to cool the air charge coming in from the turbo/supercharger. cooler air is denser, so it packs more power.

an intercooler is your turbocharger's best friend.

Someone who is stupid/awkward and an unwanted meddler

He kept awkwardly reinserting himself into the conversation but it was clear the group identified him as nothing more than a loblolly interloper.

interfooler 

(Noun.) An interfooler is a device commonly fitted behind the front bumper or grille of a vehicle to closely resemble an actual front-mount air to air intercooler found on most modified turbocharged and some supercharged vehicles. It causes enthusiasts to think that a car is turbocharged, but it really is not. (a.k.a. Baller on a budget.)

Is that an intercooler? No...it's a "front mount air intake system". Interfooler!

"Why did you strip the paint off your A/C condenser?"
"I did it because it looks like an intercooler now..."

If you see a car at a car show with a front mount intercooler, but the owner refuses to pop the hood, it's probably not really boosting.

Any individual who intrudes or does not belong- in a conversation, at a social gathering, or anywhere else. First popularized by Malachai, of "Children of the Corn".

Friend 1: "Yo, who invited him? Who's that guy lurking in the corner?"

Friend 2: "I don't know who that interloper is, dude."

Someone who seeks out a bathroom to foul up that is apart from his normal office jurisdiction.
