IBLISS was the Jinn in Islam that refused to bow down to Adam. Allah let Ibliss roam the Earth to temp the humans in their probation period and attempt to lead them to hell.
Ibliss is the Arabic name for the Biblical Satan or Lucifer in Islam. Only he is not an angel. He is a Jinn (being made of fire).
