The evolution of the word, "Band".

An established music collective, or team, which is comprised of members who are each individually vertically integrated into the collective's function. In other words, everyone in a Hypergroup has multiple core roles and responsibilities that reinforce each other.

For example, rock bands often have a drummer, guitarist, vocalist, and bassist. However, they don't have a social media manager, because then they would then be a Hypergroup.

In a more prevalent scenario, a "band" that is made up of mostly producers, mixing engineers, and so on, is no longer a band: it is a hypergroup. The individual members serve much greater roles in making music, and getting it out there, than they do in simply just playing their instrument. Once a band is at a point where they are making Instagram posts, doing music videos, and mastering and releasing music online, they are basically their own production company, called a Hypergroup. We should stop using the archaic word, band, to describe something that is completely new and evolved past a band. Like if you agree! Get this word to mainstream use and remember your contribution!
