Huxleyism

Huxleyism is a term, derived from the book Brave New World, written by Aldous Huxley, and it means 'an excessive amount of consumerism, to the point where class war is unthinkable and would actually not benefit the proletariat, as the truth is swallowed in lies, even though it is still there (I.e. fake news). The people will be distracted from the truth by unnecessary distractions, like entertainment.'

Reporter: Well, I'm certainly shocked by your answer.
