Hopstep

A sub-genre of dubstep. Is not quite as filthy as dubstep, and will typically have rap vocals and more of a hip-hop feel. Seen first in the UK, hopstep made its way into American on the coat tails of dubstep.

DJ was spinnin' some mad dubstep last night, then he dropped the grime and spit some freestyle hopstep on a mad dub beat.

hopster 

Knows more about obscure craft beer than you. Brews his own beer, no doubt. Ridicules your choice in beer. Only drinks IPAs. Domestic beers used for cooking only. AKA a "Beer Hipster"

I ordered a Great Lakes Christmas Ale last night at the bar and you should have seen the look that bartender hopster gave me. He then proceeded to rattle off his favorite beers and why they're superior to my favorite beer.

Hip Hopster 

A person (usually a person of African American descent) who wears oversized reading glasses, gold chains, white tees (or white tees with a design that is reminiscent of Kanye West post-Late Registration era) throwback jackets, tight pants, high top adidas retro shoes, and a baseball cap with a flat brim.

Kanye West occasionally. Jay-Z sometimes. Other hip hopsters include- anyone you see in new york that fits this description

Hopster 

The next big thing. Hipsters are too mainstream nowadays, so become a hopster. A hopster is someone who does everything after it has already become uncool.

Is that guy wearing jean shorts? Wow, what a hopster!

hip-hopster

Hipster who is more into hip-hop (The Cool Kids, Spank Rock, A.T.C.Q) than indie rock/electronica. And who's style is a mix of old school 80's with typical hipster staples. Might be seen skating around with their ironic basketball hat.

"Look at Aaron Lacrate spin those underground French hip-hop records, he's so hip-hopster!"

hotstepper 

1. Used to define a person who is very skilled or adept at an activity.

2. Used specifically by those in the football/soccer meld to describe a player who possesses great ability to dupe opponents with moves or tricks. Players who possess excellent ball skills and move easily past opponents.

Ex1. Person 1: John paints so well.
Person 2: Yeah, he's a hotstepper.

Ex2. Ashley's a hotstepper, with a bag of tricks a mile wide.
