Grummet 

The weirdest group of kids at a high school. Often known as dork, weirdo, and the like. These kids are the kind that would have star wars lightsaber fights or pretend gun battles in the hallways and get in everyone's way. Grummets are the lowest caste of the High School social ladder. They wear gamer tees and are often covered in acne as a result of rare exposure to the outdoors. They socialize amongst themselves because they are rejected by the upper levels of the social ladder due to their awkward or weird demeanors. All grummets talk about is the latest development in their game of dungeons and dragons, Minecraft, and other such activities. They are often immature, anti-social, and what most individuals would consider weird. They are in all aspects the polar opposite of a Prep.

A superior Minecraft factions play well know in the 2015-2019 communities. Very smart and well rounded player, he grinds, cannons, pvps, leads a successful factions, and gets many eGirls. As Co Leader of Abzya, he helped carry the demons to many map victories under his reign, and whenever he leaves they seem to lose maps. One does not want to play against Grummet!

Grommet 

Surfer slang (although also extends to other boardsports, and surf sports) for a young surfer. Can also be used to refer to children in general, although usually they have some association with surfing/etc.

Although usually there is no ill-meaning behind the term, it is often used to poke fun at younger surfers. It can sometimes be used as a derogatory term when younger surfers are annoying, bad or otherwise difficult.

It is frequently abbreviated to grom.

On a beach crowded with children: "Where did all the grommets come from?"
