A term in the context of temperature meaning it's just at the border of warm and cool. It is not distinctly warm, but you are not feeling a chill. There are no strong winds or rain or anything like that. It is very mild.

It is an early May afternoon and I am going for a walk. There is a slight breeze. It was a frepid day.
